Addresses, prices, labels, descriptions, warnings, markings – labels are everywhere. The adhesive properties they must exhibit are as varied as their areas of application.

artimelt develops hot melt adhesives for labels with a wide range of adhesive properties, from "permanent" to "removable" and "repositionable" to "residue-free". Depending on the application, other functions may be required. For example, adhesives with the 'artimeltsurface'property have high adhesion and cohesion on difficult surfaces, are good for circular bondingand adhere to low energy surfaces.

We are also a leader in adhesives for linerless labels, working with weighing scale manufacturers, for example. Linerless labels offer benefits such as short run flexibility, material savings and improved environmental performance.

Other properties of artimelt hotmelt adhesives are high resistance to extreme temperatures, chemicals and sunlight ensuring long lasting adhesion. For different end products there are specific properties such as "artimeltremovable" and "artimeltultraremovable" which can be developed in different adhesive strengths. Hotmelt adhesives developed with 'repositionable' properties enable residue-free removal and reapplication of labels, particularly for wet wipe closures. (general comment “xx” or ‘xx’ not both)
