Kisling 1670
Adhesive Bonding Technology
Kisling's 1670 is a non-sagging, two-part methylmethacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies.
Combined at a 10:1 (V:V) ratio, it has a working time of 18 to 22 minutes. The 1670 is mainly used as an universal grade for industrial applications where composites are involved. Normally it does not require any surface preparation. The black appearance makes overpainting unnecessary even for aesthetically demanding applications (e.g. CFRP).
- Ideal pot life for large bonding areas
- Short fixture times thanks to fast strength build-up
- Good adhesion to a wide range of materials
- High toughness and elongation at break
- 200 to 300 μ spacer for a defined bonding gap
Kisling is a leading manufacturer of high-quality adhesives, sealants and encapsulants for almost every line of industry- electronics, mechanical engineering, pump and valve construction and mobility.
