Zelugen S 1579
Adhesive Bonding Technology
Zelugen S 1579 is used to bond foils of soft-PVC, ABS/PVC and textile with moulded parts of wood fibre and plastic injection moulding parts in a deep drawing process. Furthermore, this adhesive can be used in the automotive industry (contact adhesive) to bond interiors like sunroofs, side frames and consoles (edge wrapping).
Zelugen S 1579 is a PU-based adhesive with high inherent tack. Contact bonding is not only possible by means of heat reactivation, but can also be performed at room temperature. Zelugen S 1579 has a high initial and final strength and is also resistant to plasticisers.
Applications: Car headlinings, upholstered furniture (suitable for imitation leather, among other things)
